About Østlandsutstillingen
Østlandsutstillingen is an annual, regional exhibition showing contemporary art in the four counties of Eastern Norway: Vestfold and Telemark, Innlandet, Viken and Oslo. The exhibition is based on an open call, the art works are evaluated by a fellow jury where the majority of the jury members are from the artist organizations of Eastern Norway.
Østlandsutstillingen was initiated by the seven artist organizations in the former counties of Eastern Norway in 1978. The first Østlandsutstillingen was exhibited in 1979 at Gallery F15, Sandefjord Art Society, Lillehammer City Collection of Paintings and The Sandvig Collections.
